STAGED READING

Come and experience a special reading at the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen – BFFB: six writers will present excerpts from their screenplays, developed during the Scriptum screenwriting course led by Robert Buchschwenter (Vienna). Between August 2025 and April 2026, they developed their film ideas into synopses, treatments and finished screenplays. The dialogues and script excerpts will be performed by various actors and actresses.

The script reading on 15 April 2026 at 11:00 am at the Capitol Bozen (Club 3) is aimed at all producers, filmmakers and interested parties, and offers a unique insight into the process of creating a film.

Aida leaves Piero for wealthy Marcello, who woos her with promises then abandons her in a garage with her suitcase. When she seeks him out, he sends his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo. Feeling sorry for her, Lorenzo takes her to a boarding house and meets her in secret, giving money and affection. The family discovers them, and a priest orders Aida to leave the boy and the town.
