OTHER JURIES BFFB 39

As part of its particular focus on promoting film education at all levels, fostering the growth of an ever-wider and more informed audience, and its specific commitment to the cultural and environmental preservation of the local area, the BFFB has established four complementary and diverse juries tasked with awarding a range of transversal prizes.
Jury of the ZeLIG Film School in Bolzano

The prize is awarded by a panel of seven students from ZeLIG – School of Documentary, supported by Sara Fgaier as jury tutor, to a work in which elements, practices and directorial techniques associated with documentary production methods are recognisable. Works that may appear to be purely fictional will also be considered, alongside others more closely linked to formal and structural choices akin to the perception and construction of the documentary. This is a crossover award both in terms of the festival’s sections (Competition BFFB39, RealeNonReale, BFFB Special, Focus and Piccole Lingue DOC) and in terms of the profile of the works under consideration.

The members of the ZeLIG jury at BFFB 39 are:

Zoé Maelle Bromma

Valeria Buffa

Luca Firmian

Alma Gunther

Meriam Jarboua

Vita La Maida

Sebastiano Scapinello

FILMCLUB Jury

A FILMCLUB Jury, made up of seven people selected for this purpose by the artistic direction of the Festival by means of a specific call for entries and accompanied by an expert in the field, will consider during BFFB 39 the IDM Film & Music Commission Sudtirol Award for Best Feature Film from the three Euregio regions, endowed with €2,000, and the IDM Film & Music Commission Sudtirol Award for Best Short Film from the three Euregio regions, endowed with €1,000. Cash prizes will be awarded to the company/person who enters the film and/or confirms its selection at BFFB 39.
These prizes correspond to a transversal competition open to audiovisual works produced or directed by professionals born in or resident in the EUREGIO Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino and selected in the following BFFB sections: Competition BFFB, RealeNonReale, Locals, LiLi – Little Lights and Piccole Lingue DOC, for feature films, and Locals and Piccole Lingue DOC for short films.
