Discover the winning films from the 39th Bolzano Film Festival Bozen!

The programme for the 39th BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN, which will take place from 10 to 19 April 2026, was unveiled today at a press conference.

In 2026, the Bolzano Film Festival (BFFB) will expand its presence across the city and open a new venue, the Teatro Cristallo, where three film screenings will take place.

Now in its 39th year, the BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN continues to focus on a specific geographical area, dedicating a section to contemporary cinema from Catalonia, one of the most dynamic regions in European film production.

The 39th BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN is awarding honorary prizes for outstanding film careers to the German director and visual artist Ulrike Ottinger and to the Italian actress Ottavia Piccolo.

The documentary film ELON MUSK UNVEILED – The Tesla Experiment by Italian director Andreas Pichler, who hails from Bolzano, will open, as Italian premiere, the 39th BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN on 10 April 2026.

Die Dokumentarfilmprojekte für Nord/Est/Doc/Camp 2026, produziert in Bozen, Rovereto, Trient, Triest und Verona, wurden ausgewählt.

Auch 2026 lädt das Bolzano Film Festival Bozen alle Filmbegeisterten dazu ein, aktiv am Festivalgeschehen teilzunehmen und Mitglied der FILMCLUB Jury zu werden.
