After their parents' separation, Quique (11) and Valentina (5) live with their mother. The film explores their emotions and the concept of "casa chica" in Mexican society.

The director and visual artist was born in 1991 in Mexico City. She studied Film Direction at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and Fine Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda.” Her artistic and cinematic work focuses on the world of childhood. She is a co-founder of Pininos, a project dedicated to casting and acting coaching for children since 2016. Her short film Olote has been shown at dozens of international festivals, including the Huesca International Film Festival.
