Tobias Nölle (born 1976 in Erlenbach, Switzerland) is a Swiss film director, screenwriter, and editor. He studied film at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His short film René won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival in 2008. His feature film Aloys received the FIPRESCI Award at the Berlinale 2016. He lives and works in Berlin and Zurich and is a co-founder of the Swiss filmmaker collective 8horses.
