Sicilian director and writer. His first feature film, Triokala (CSC Production, 2015), received recognition in Italy and abroad. He later wrote and directed Epicentro (Playmaker, 2018), which premiered in the Critics’ Week at the 75th Venice International Film Festival, and Divinations (Qoomoon with Rai Cinema, Les Films d’Ici), which had its world premiere at IDFA in 2020 and theatrical release in 2021. Signals of Life (Qoomoon with Rai Cinema) premiered at the Rome Film Fest in 2023 and was released in theaters in 2024. Sciatunostro is his fourth feature film.
