Roberto Hernández, Mexican filmmaker and lawyer, known for Presunto Culpable (2008) and Duda Razonable (2021). He studied in Mexico & Canada, researches justice, and teaches human rights in the Netherlands. His works expose flaws in the legal system.
Geoffrey Smith, a Melbourne-born documentary filmmaker, won two Emmys for Presumed Guilty and The English Surgeon. His career began in Haiti, where he survived a traumatic shooting while covering the country’s first free election. This experience shaped his storytelling approach, leading him to create powerful, character-driven documentaries built on trust and intimacy.
