Yoriko Mizushiri (born 1984, Japan) is an acclaimed animator and filmmaker, known for her unique approach to animation. She studied at Joshibi University of Art and Design and gained recognition with her works exploring the sense of touch. Her short films, including Futon (2012) and Snow Hut (2013), have been featured at top international festivals such as Berlin and Annecy. Mizushiri's latest work, Ordinary Life (2025), won the Silver Bear Jury Prize at Berlinale. Her films are recognized for their meditative, emotional, and feminine qualities.
