At the end of the 21st century, Sardinia is a nation of its own, where no law applies. In exchange for a large sum of money, the inhabitants have agreed to emigrate and never return.
Elio Turno Arthemalle has played key roles in over 100 theater productions. He directed nearly all productions of Riverrun Teatro (1997–2008) and Teatro Impossibile. He worked on 20+ radio dramas for Rai Sardinia and hosted Buongiorno Cagliari (2006–2018). He is an author, actor, and translator (Sardinian/Italian). He has taught at the University of Cagliari and led educational projects in Italy and abroad.
