Simone Manetti (Livorno, 1978) is a director and documentary filmmaker. He made his debut with Goodbye Darling, I'm Off to Fight (2016), selected for the Nastri d'Argento awards. He directed Sono innamorato di Pippa Bacca (2019) and the series Il Forteto (2020) and Marta – Il delitto della Sapienza (2021). In 2024, he directed Il Giovane Berlusconi and presented Rigenerazione. This was followed by Achille Lauro – The Terror Cruise, Goodbye Baghdad, and Giulio Regeni, Tutto il male del mondo.
