Erik Bernasconi - 1973 CH
Erik Bernasconi, born in 1973 in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, grew up in Ticino. After studying Italian literature in Fribourg and Bologna and cinema in Paris, he worked as an assistant director on films for cinema and television. He made his directorial debut in 2004 with the short film FENÊTRE, selected for the Pardi di domani section at the Locarno Film Festival. His first feature film, SINESTESIA (2010), received three nominations for the Swiss Film Awards.
