GREEN MANIFEST SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY The Festival promotes the sustainable mobility of guests, audiences and staff. The Festival locations are located in the immediate vicinity of the train and bus stations and are easily reachable by foot or, alternatively, it is possible to reach the Festival locations by bike, using the cycle path network. The Festival website contains information on public transport, schedule and bike sharing services. SUSTAINABLE ENERGY CONSUMPTION The heating of the rooms will be programmed in such a way as to guarantee minimum energy needs, and the lighting systems in the rooms and cinema projection systems will only be turned on during the screenings. PRINTING OF MATERIALS For the printing of promotional materials, paper certified with an environmental label will be used and digital communication is favoured. Paper materials are distributed only in targeted points and places. DECORATIONS The Festival decorations do not contain edition-specific information, allowing them to be reused. WASTE MANAGEMENT Waste production is limited as much as possible and waste management is carefully monitored, including the separate collection of paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic and compostable waste. Sufficient containers for recyclable and residual waste are available and clearly visible. For the bar and restaurant service, washable crockery and glasses will be used. In front of the cinema there are ashtrays for collecting cigarettes. MERCHANDISE PRODUCTION BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN is committed to producing useful and sustainable merchandise from both an environmental and social point of view. The merchandise for the 2024 edition will be a reusable organic cotton bag. GUEST MANAGEMENT Guests are invited to travel in an eco-friendly way, favouring trains or coaches. The selected accommodation facilities are close to the Festival venue and easily reachable by foot. Guests are informed about sustainable mobility options. FOOD SUSTAINABILITY The use of water from the mains water supply is favoured. The gastronomic offer always includes vegetarian and/or vegan dishes. No use is made of disposable materials for the food and beverage service, but washable crockery, glasses and placemats are used. For refreshments, great attention is given to the choice of products offered, preferring those with a lower environmental impact, and maximum attention is paid to avoiding food waste.
