Robert Sedlácek

Born 1973 in Zlín, studied Documentary Production
at The Film and TV School of the Academy of
Performing Arts in Prague. In 2006 he received
the Czech Lion Award for the best script for his
feature debut Pravidla lži (Rules of Lying) set in a
rehab centre. Czechoslovak history is reflected in
his documentaries. He is also well known for his
historical documentary series České století (Czech
Century) produced by Czech Television.
